PTO Annual Appeal

Our Shorewood Hills Elementary School PTO starts the year with our annual appeal, which funds our budget for the school year. As of today, we’re kicking off a fundraising drive with a goal to raise $15,000 by November 1st.

Here’s where the money will go:

  • Funding school community-building events, like the outdoor Fall Festival, International Week, Science Night, fifth grade graduation, and more!
  • Supporting all students – with school spirit gear and a yearbook for everyone, regardless of ability to pay.
  • Funding student enrichment opportunities like the poet David Daniel, after school clubs, and more!
  • Recognizing our teachers and staff with meals during parent-teacher conferences and staff appreciation week. In addition, we give each teacher/staff member a small budget to fund classroom needs.
  • Supporting families in need at our school and in our community. With our Families in Need Fund, we collaborate directly with our school social worker to provide gift cards and other items to families when needed.
  • Funding teacher and school special requests – for example, our fundraising helped us put new water bottle filling stations throughout the school, purchase rollerblading equipment for 2nd/3rd/4th/5th graders to use in PE, support the Impact Club’s mural, and more!

If each family at our school gave $40 per child, we’d meet our goal.

However, no gift is too small…the small gifts add up! If you have the means, please consider donating up to $250 per child, a gift that works out to only $25 per month for the ten months of the school year.

Please help us raise $15,000 by November 1st!

Your donation directly supports your child’s education. The sooner items can be purchased and programs can be funded, the sooner your child will benefit.

To make a donation, please visit https://www.shespto.org/donate/ where there are options to use PayPal, Venmo or Zelle.

We want to extend a special “THANK YOU!” to our printing partner for the campaign, Bob’s Copy Shop, who is donating color copies; be sure and visit their shop, here in Madison, at 710 W. Wingra Drive!
